Sturmpanzerwagen A7V
The A7V was a tank introduced by Germany in 1918, during World War I. One hundred were ordered in early 1918, ten where finished and combat ready, the rest where converted into cargo carriers. The final number for the combat ready tanks where 20.

The A7V was created due to the introduction of the British Tank on the Western Front.
The A7V's main weapon was its 57mm frontal Gun
The A7V's front and side armour was only 2cm thick !
The A7V had six machine guns in case the tank was attacked by troops
The A7V was firsted used in combat on the 21 March 1918. The First tank on tank battle happened on this day. It was between a British MK IV and three A7Vs. The British Tank won the battle and knocked out one A7V, the other two retreated immediately.
The last original A7V is now on display at the Queensland Museum in Brisbane, Australia
