Handley Page Type O
The Handley Page Type O was the first large biplane bomber used by Britain during the First World War. At the time it was the largest aircraft that had been built in the UK and one of the largest in the world.

It was the first heavy bomber ever produced by Britain.
They where predominantly be used for night raids against German Ports. the biggest raid of the war consisted of 40 aircraft.
In the middle east the was 1 Type O in service. It supported the legendary Lawrence of Arabia against the Ottoman Empire in his war for the middle east.
After the first world war the aircraft stayed in there squadrons but where no longer required after the war. They where then converted into civil aircraft and operated out of London Croydon.
